This beverage essentially combines chocolate with Café au Lait. The proportions of coffee and milk can be adjusted to suit individual preferences.
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
- 2/3 cup coffee
- Sweetened chocolate powder (optional)
Directions:
- Pour the coffee into a cup.
- Mix the chocolate syrup into the coffee.
- Steam the milk until hot and foamy, then pour into the coffee, leaving a layer of froth on top.
- Drizzle chocolate powder on top, if you wish.

Variations:
To create a Café Mocha Mint, mix 1/8 teaspoon of mint extract into the coffee along with the chocolate syrup. The remaining steps are the same as for a regular Café Mocha, and a fresh mint sprig can be used as an optional garnish.
To create a Mandarin Mocha, mix 1/8 teaspoon of orange extract into the coffee along with the chocolate syrup. The remaining steps are the same as for a regular Café Mocha.
